Welcome to attend "The 2nd APEC Electronic Commerce Business Alliance Forum & Exhibition " to be held in Qingdao China. With the aim to make your work and life during the event comfortable, the organizing committee of the Forum has prepared this guide, and your careful reading is much appreciated.

• 交通 Transportation
  
  青岛丽晶大酒店位于新市区中心，地处青岛市东部商业、金融、娱乐和购物中心，是距青岛流亭国际机场最近的五星级酒店。酒店步行可及海滩，周围有阳光百货、绮丽广场等高档购物广场及五四广场、东海雕塑、市府大楼，并有佳世客、家乐福等大型超市；距火车站15分钟，距机场30分钟,新市中心5分钟，与国际高尔夫球场公15分钟车程，距崂山风景区45分钟车程。
  
  Situated in the new city center, Qingdao Grand Regency Hotel lies in the eastern downtown area of Qingdao city. It is surrounded by Sunshine Department Store, Qi Li Shopping Square, Wu Si Square, East Sea Sculpture, Qingdao Municipal Government Building, Jia Shi Ke Supermarket and Carrefour, and is also the nearest 5-star hotel to Qingdao Liu Ting International Airport. Form the hotel, 30 minutes ride will be took to the airport (It will take 15 minutes ride to the railway station, 5 minutes to downtown area, 15 minutes to the international golf resort and 45 minutes to the Lao Shan Mountain).

五、着装须知 Dress Code

建议所有参会嘉宾着正装出席研讨会，特别是论坛开幕式。

Formal dressing is recommended for all forum guests when attending the forum, especially the opening ceremonies.

六、商务服务 Business Service

• 酒店房间配有专线高速局域网接口，住宿客人可在房间免费上网。
  
  Free Internet access is available for forum participants in hotel rooms, which are equipped with high-speed private LAN interface.
  
  
• 酒店二层设有商务中心，可为参会嘉宾提供传真、打印等服务(费用自付)。
  
  Located in the 2nd floor of the hotel, the Business Center would provide faxing and printing services to forum guests.
  

七、工作语言 Working Language

论坛工作语言为英语, 会议现场将提供中英文同声传译服务。

The working language of the forum is English. Simultaneous interpretation will be provides on site.

• 文化历史 Culture & History
  
  红瓦绿树，海天山城。青岛有着十分出色的市政建筑，如果说西部保存良好的欧洲建筑带给你的是一种古典美，那么东部新城呈献给你的则是现代甚至是超前的美。中山路一带有许多古老建筑，除了中山路是商业街之外，其他街道大树参天，宁静而悠闲，最适合消磨一个中午。大海会使你的心胸开阔，崂山则让你体会清虚与幽静。如此动静结合的度假胜地全国也不多见。内地的朋友到青岛旅游着实是人生一大乐事。每年7、8月份时值青岛啤酒节和海洋节，丰富多彩的活动等着你的参与。高挑的青岛小嫚（方言对姑娘的称呼），豪爽的青岛小伙会让你体味北方人的性格魅力。
  
  栈桥、海产博物馆、东海路上充满灵气的雕塑，五四广场上“五月的风”，黄昏远眺浩瀚黄海，四面来风，尘虑尽消。这里还有很多处海水浴场，就在沿海街道的下面，是你夏日消暑的最好去处。
  
  八大关是青岛最好的地方，街道纵横，左右交叉，状若棋盘，更难得是清净。另外这里一路一木，一木一林，其间有无数世纪初别墅式的欧式建筑，有如欧洲小镇，静雅宜人，若起一个大早，漫步松树丛中，走向海风响处，更有无限惬意。
  
  Qingdao, a mountainous city, with red tiles and green trees, blue sea and azure sky, is a well-planned city with wonderful sceneries and architectures. If the well-preserved European style architectures in the western part of the city bring you a beauty of classicality, the eastern part will present a modern, even advanced new Qingdao to you. Besides the Zhong Shan Avenue – a commercial street with a number of historical architectures surrounded, peace and leisure are the features of other wooded streets in Qingdao.
  
  The sea of Qingdao will relax your heart, while the Lao Shan Mountain will bring you silence. Such a seaside resort with the combination of vigor and peace are rare in China and traveling in Qingdao will be a great pleasure. The colorful Qingdao Beer Festival and Oceanic Gala held in July and August every year are waiting for your participation. The tall and thin ladies and forthright young men in Qingdao will show you the character charms of Northern Chinese People.
  
  The Zhan Bridge, the Sea Products Museum, vivid sculptures in Dong Hai Street, the “Wind of May” in Wu Si Square and the Yellow Sea in dusk will take away your exhaustion and worries. The bathing beaches downward form the seaside roads are the best summer resorts.
  
  
• 气候 Climate
  
  青岛背山面海，到处绿树浓阴，气候温和宜人。“夏无酷暑、冬无严寒”，每年夏季只有65天，夏季最热的8月份，平均气温只有25.1摄氏度，非常适合旅游。
  
  Backed with mountains and facing the sea, Qingdao is lush-wooded and has a very pleasant climate. Summer in Qingdao only lasts for 65 days and the hottest month is August. The average temperature is 25.1 degree Celsius and it is very comfortable for tourists.
